Day 01: Arrival in Delhi (By flight)

On your arrival at New Delhi International Airport, our representative will traditionally welcome (Swagat) you and assist you in check-in to your pre booked hotel. Relax for a day after a long flight and prepare for the further trip. Here you have successfully completed your first day of Golden Triangle with Pushkar Tour.

Day 02: Old Delhi and New Delhi sightseeing

Tour Highlights: Redfort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi Museum), Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar

After Breakfast, you will be escorted by our professional Tour Guide and will be taken for the sight-seeing of Old and New Delhi.  Today’s highlights will be Redfort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar.  You tour will start from the Old Delhi and will end at New Delhi.  Delhi has two different faces the “old” and the “new” and each of her face will give you a complete different experience.  New Delhi offers you Modern Architecture, Luxury Hotels, classy café’s and bars, business centers. On the other side, the face of Old Delhi offers you splendid history of Delhi which served as the capital of Islamic India.  At the end of the tour return to your Hotel and relax.  Here you have successfully completed your second day of Golden Triangle with Pushkar Tour.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra (Approx 220 Kms)

Tour Highlights: Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula Fort.

After Breakfast, check-out from the Hotel and drive to Agra. On your arrival at Agra, check-in at your pre-reserved Hotel and take a short break here.  After Lunch you will be escorted by our guide and will be taken for Agra sightseeing.  Tour Highlights will be Agra Fort & Itmad-ud-Daula Fort.

Agra Fort: After lunch we will proceed for Agra Fort.  This fort was constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D and it includes much other architecture like the Moti Masjid and Musanman Burj.  It is believed that Shah Jahan was imprisoned and died here.

Itmad-ud-Daula Fort: Itmad-ud-Daula Fort also sometimes described as Jewel box and is a Mughal mausoleum located in the city of Agra.  It is also famous with another name Baby Taj as it is often regarded as a draft of the Tāj Mahal.

At the end of the Tour, return to your hotel and relax.  Here you have successfully completed your third day of Golden Triangle with Pushkar Tour.

Day 04: Agra – Jaipur via Fateh Pur Sikri (Approx 240 Kms)

Tour Highlights: Taj Mahal, Local Market and Fateh Pur Sikri

After Breakfast, check-out from the Hotel.  Then you will be escorted by our Tour guide and will proceed for the sightseeing.  Today’s tour highlights will be Taj Mahal, Agra Local Market and Fateh Pur Sikri

Taj Mahal: Visit the most beautiful monument of India and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Taj Mahal.  It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.  The Taj Mahal is a must sight-seeing for all visitors to India and one of the most beautiful architectural achievements in the world.  It is considered to be a symbol of enduring love.  Taj Mahal is made up of opulent white marble and is a symbol of sentiments, purity and simplicity. This is the only monuments which has touched the hearts of people from all corners of the world.

After visiting Taj Mahal, we will take a short break for Lunch and then visit the local market to experience the fine Marble Art work which is still being done in Agra by the descendants of the families of builders and artists of the Taj Mahal.  At the end of the tour we will further proceed to Jaipur.  En-route we will visit Fateh Pur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri is a fascinating ghost city and it was built in the 16th century. It is located at a distance of 37kms from Agra City.  Mughal Emperor Akbar, at the age of 26 years did not have a successor and founded this historical site, Fatehpur Sikri.   He went to a saint called Shaikh Salim Chishti who used to live in a city called Sikri. His blessing gave Akbar 3 sons. In return as a gesture, Akbar built a whole new city in Sikri. Akbar named this new capital Fatehpur Sikri or the City of Victory. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor.

Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing

Tour Highlights: Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal & Laxminarayan Temple

After Breakfast, you will be escorted by our Tour Guide and will be taken for Jaipur sightseeing.  Today’s tour highlights will be Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and Laxminarayan Temple.  In the afternoon take a short break for your Lunch at a Restaurant and continue for the rest of the sightseeing.  At the end of the tour return to your hotel and relax.  Here you have successfully completed your fifth day of Golden Triangle with Pushkar Tour.

Day 06: Jaipur – Pushkar via Ajmer (Approx 150 Kms)

Tour Highlights: Dargah Ajmer Sharif

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and further drive to Pushkar.  En-route we will visit Ajmer City.

Ajmer: Ajmer Sharif is a esteemed shrine of Saint Moinuddin Chishti located at Ajmer. The shrine has the grave of the honored Saint Moinuddin Chishti.  Ajmer city is surrounded by the Aravalli Hills. It is a pilgrimage centre for the shrine of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and is also the base station for visiting Pushkar.
After visiting Ajmer Sharif, we will further drive to Pushkar.  On your arrival at Pushkar, check-in to your pre-reserved Hotel and relax. Here you have successfully completed your sixth day of Golden Triangle with Pushkar Tour.

Day 07: Pushkar Sightseeing

Tour Highlights: Pushkar Lake, Brahma Temple, Pushkar Fair and Local Market.

After Breakfast, you will be escorted at our Tour Guide and will be taken for Pushkar Sightseeing.  Today’s tour highlights will be Pushkar Lake, Brahma Temple, Pushkar Fair and Local Market.

Pushkar Lake: According to Hindu mythology, Lord Brahma is the creator of the Universe and Lotus is the birth place of Lord Brahma.  It is believed that at the time when Universe was created, a Lotus flower sprang from the navel of Lord Vishnu (One of the Trinity Gods) and gave birth to Lord Brahma.  Then Lord Brahma had thrown this Lotus to select a suitable spot.  Lotus struck at this particular place of Pushkar and water came out from the flower and gave it a shape of holy Pushkar Lake which is till date is valued as a pilgrimage place for Hindus. Apart from pilgrims thousands of foreign travelers also visit Pushkar to take a Holy bath in this sacred Lake.

Brahma Temple: It is an important pilgrimage place for the Hindus and is located in the Pushkar.  This is the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in India.   This place is filled with natural beauty and it holds and has special existence in the hearts of Hindus.  The surroundings of the Temple are breathtaking beautiful with and is surrounded by Aravalli Hills.

Pushkar Fair is famous across the Globe and thousands of Domestic & International devotees or travelers visit Pushkar on this occasion.  If you are lucky to be in Pushkar between 30th October – 6th November 2014 then you can also become a part of this world famous Pushkar Fair.  

At the end of the tour, return to your Hotel and relax. Here you have successfully completed your seventh day of Golden Triangle with Pushkar Tour.

Day 08: Pushkar – Delhi (400kms approx)

After Breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi.  On your arrival at Delhi, you will be transferred to Delhi Airport for your onward flight to your Country or to the next destination.
